I was wondering what Little Sahara was like in December - our group is planning a trip between Christmas and New Years and thought we may journey out west (it's 14 hrs). Any opinions??

We'll be out there for a few days around that same time. We have relatives near Wichita that we visit at Christmas so a trip to the sandbox is a must! Maybe we'll see you there. Look for a blue Raptor from Missouri.

 

You guys might see a 01 Banshee and a 97 Wolverine as well,if we can get the time off.

 

Have you ever been in December?? It makes me nervous to think that we may drive 14hrs to get our butts FROZEN!! We are still discussing the trip, if we decide to go maybe we'll see you there.

 

I've been out there several times in December. It's hard to say about the weather though. I doubt that you'll freeze but there's a good chance that it will be cold. I don't know but the average temps. is probably in the 40s. Check the web site that Scooby mentioned. I've ridded out there when there was a few inches of snow on the ground. It brought a whole new experience to duning. Hope to see you there!
