Great place! The best place to camp is "The Cove". From there you can ride west up a sand canyon and over to Blow Sand Hill. Out to the east is Pumpkin Patch, Devils Slide, and Shell Reef, or just ride around and explore. Pretty much open desert with some trails here and there, and a couple of "dunes".

There are pretty good pit toilets, and showers at the ranger station. You can get riding area maps at the ranger station.

Has a good maps---

yes, it's a great place for kids. Alot of open areas and small hilly trails to ride also.

As far as terrain, there is a little of everything. There isn't enough sand to make it worth running paddles. You would destroy them on the other terrain, getting to and from the sandy areas.

As stated above, there is everything. Smaller sand areas, a couple of hill climbs, fun rolling valleys. tight trails, open desert, jumps, etc.

Have fun!
