Its been nice for 3 weeks now and the day I go to the coast, it rains most of it. Got to Wincester Bay at 10:15 am. Nobody was there. Found friends at Windy Cove campgrounds. Stayed in the trailers until about 1:45. The clouds broke up, so we all loaded up at went for a ride Finally! Got to ride for about 2 hours and then notice a flat rear tire (thats another stoy)... Got back to the parking lot and it was actually almost full now. Got to talk with a rider with a new 450R. He loves it. More power to him. After everything said, it still was a fun day.

im going on the 16th with a big group of friends. I cant wait. How were the dunes?

 

forgot to ask how much water was out there. Last month when we went seemed like the hole place was one big lake.

We were there from Thursday through Saturday. It rained in the morning on Thursday. Friday rained all day so we did no riding. Saturday was beautiful.

There is a lot of water down there. There is more now than there was last spring break. The sand stayed wet until the afternoon and then the top inch or so was dried out. It was great conditions.
