Define "extreme go cart".

Are you talking about a shifter kart? 0 to 100 mph in 5.5 sec is pretty extreme. $10k will get you into a national level kart, but it won't buy you national leve skills.

 

shifter carts are the coolest thing...hahah talk to some people and there like "go kart?, its a kids toy" but once youve seen them in action there no joke. id love to get one to race cars on the street. make for a great video, if slightly illegal. i just wanna dust some punk kid with a suped up civic riding on a go kart hahaha

 

Hey my friend is selling his dune buggy... He bought it for $3500 less than two weeks ago, but decided he wants a banshee instead, so he's trying to sale it. The guy he bought it from, wanted $4000 but he talked him down to $3500. He wants to get at least $3000 out of it.. very nice! Comes with a custome trailer. For $9000 I have a one seater I can have done and ready to go by Fourth of July weekend...

I was thinking a Sandbullet would be what you're after, but I just looked at their webpage and they are a lot more expensive than I remembered!! Good luck with the search. Post some pictures when you get whatever it is.

 

Strictly 125cc. It'll do better than 120, but there's no place on the track here to do that. I know guys that have taken theirs to those drag stips that allow ricers to run on like Friday nights and stuff and have waxed 'em.

These shifter karts are tiny compared to any vehicle. Your azz is like 1.5 inches off the ground. They turn on a dime and require dentist work after every outing - the only "suspension" is the air in the tires. But the thrill they provide cannot be purchased in a vehicle for less than $100k.
