Default I want sand dunes!!!

You eastern boys suck it up and take a long vaca and head west. Oregon and Glamis are very good dunes, but Utah and Idaho have bigger dunes and are closer and about 40,000 acres each.. Without dunes I wouldn't own a quad...

Well I wish I was only 30 minutes from my dunes, but 90 minutes isn't bad. Only 4.5hrs to Saint Anyhonys.. I rate SA the best. I've been to Glamis and Dumont also.. I will head to Oregon this Sept or Oct...

I think I have close to the most sand, BUT my sand has a lot of water around it and we arent allowed to ride on it. Also our sand is all flat, lots of shells (could puncture tires) seagulls, LOTS of beach goers!

Sandgod, it takes you 90 min. to get to the dunes LOL. I can make it in 60 min. pulling 4 bikes. And i've never gotten a ticket.

Would I know you?

All we have here in Louisiana is LA "Dunes", which is no more than a 300 acre sand pit with a couple of small hills. Check it out at thedunesinc.com. Pretty pathetic but it's the best we have. I've visited Dumont but didn't have a bike with me at the time and yes, I did fill up a water bottle of sand for a souvenir

As Sandgod said, without dunes, I would not even own a quad.
I am almost 2 hours from Jericho, 3.5 from St A's.
