I haven't been to the dunes in a while to check out the new four-strokes in action. I was wondering with the new YFZ450 being stroked out to a 470, is the Curtis Sparks Honda 465EX on alcohol obsolete now, or is it still a force to be reckoned with?

 

that thing is still sick fast and the yYFZ need a year or so to touch it, but the sparks has there light riders on the YFZ 470 and it is real fast too, not faster than the honda..

Im talking about the 400EX with a 450R engine inside, the 400ex beefed up is still fast but not the fastest

 

beat the 470 and crf450

 

i've raced that 465 on alky and it is fast, obselete is a long ways away.

 

i doubt you beat the 450 that people are talking about.

Beech you know which one i am talking about, i dont think he beat it either, i seen him take out 2 drag banshees on video and i have seen it all over the so cal dunes spots....

yuoll know when you see it cuz youll say to yourself i dident think a 400 could go that fast...

 

Yeah, i know he didnt beat that 450. In the form of 4-strokes i dont see much ever coming close to beat that 450.

As for the 465EX I never said I beat him, and never said I raced him. I raced a Sparks CRF450 in a 400EX frame this past Sat. and beat him. I don't which one it was and didn't ask his name, but he was running a Sparks pipe and it was a CRF450 Motor with Sparks on the side of the head.
