Does the BLM camp area have water to fill up the trailer? Dump station?

What is the 4th of July croud like?

Is there a max # of campers for the BLM Camp area?

We are looking at a 2005 trip and we are looking at either the 2-8 of July or the 9-15 of July.

If we go with the 9th, will there still be a lot of people there from the 4th of July Week to where we couldn't get a spot?

Coming from Sacramento area I'll probably leave Friday after work and drive a good 6-8 hours then finish off the drive Saturday morning and arrive around noon. I think someone said it is about 14 hours from Sac.?

Thanks!

First no water or dump onsite that i'm aware of .
this year there were alot of campers at the site but not alot of sport riders . pretty wide open sand .
The desert oasis campground is near by and has full hook ups , never been there but the tell me it's nice

actually yes. when i went to glamis last year you could do whatever whenever. also when i went to little sahara in utah there was no restrictions on being loud or riding late at night. i know that some campgrounds have quiet hours but i dont plan on being quiet. so what i want to know is where i can stay that fits my needs. does anyone know.

Sorry, but one more Q. before I go. Can somebody tell, if you can do campfire in BLM camp area. Don't want to haul firewood, if I can't use it. Otherwise next week I'll see this monster dunes first time. Let's hope I'll survive them in one piece.

You can have a campfire in the BLM area, but you need to use what they call a "fire ring" which is a bottom third of a 55 gallon drum, to keep the ashes off the gravel.
