It's been a year or so since i was there last. Aching!

 

Iwas at silver over the 4th of july, there is a LOT of water. The flats(drag strips) are both covered by 2 or 3 feet of water. They also opened up the section in the woods, lot of mud/water in there.

Have fun, I wont be able to go again untill august.

 

No way, that whole beach area is flooded?! Man, that's nuts. Where does everyone park their trucks and hang out at then?

along the beach is wet, but not completly flooded. I m talking about the flats to the right(west) of the directional hills(test hill through exit hill).

 

There is so much water there, I saw a guy in a rail pulling a guy on water skis around the old drag strip. That whole long strip has wet spots and is whooped out. Last year I could haul azz through there. I will be back soon, but not that soon.

I was there about a month ago and it was insane how much water was there.... and it just keeps raining! The dunes were rounded off onto a flat top, making it hard to catch good air going over them! THAT SUCKED! hopefully it has changed! I wish I was going back though but not till prolly the last weekend in Aug.. Give us an update when you get back.

I remember meeting you at Silver Lake about a month ago. That was you right? I was on the purple and yellow DS.
The park had more water than I have ever seen. It doesnt look like its going anywhere any time soon either. I think its seeping in thru the sand from the lake.
Anyway, it looks like there will be a couple of us heading over to the West Michigan Sand drags on Aug. 6th. They are having a national drag event that weekend, and we are going to try our hand at it. I will have my drag pipe for the Ds by then, and finally do away with that piece of crap pipe from Alba. (worthless) I should have my Haulers by then also. The Skat trak Edges are great for duning, but suck in a straight line. If we get our butts handed to us right away on Saturday, We will most likely head over to the park.
