Ohhhhhhh
Myyyyyyyy
Gawddddd
I've come back from the promised land and have spoke with God through the burning bush.
St Anthonies truly was a religious experience.
I'm still trying to put it all into verbiage, but since a picture is worth a thousand words, You'll have to check out my Picture Gallery to really try and soak in the sheer scale of the monster dunes.
Honest to god, the hills there are totally insanely steep and tall, big, huge, excessive, and was a ball to ride……big bowls to carve around were 350-400 foot deep and 800-900 foot across………we sucked up 65 gallons of fuel between 4 machines in 4 days. Wide Friggin Open throttle all day long…………Razer backs were sharp and steep steep, you just didn't go blasting over a ridge, as it'd just plummet down the other side.
Some of these hills took a long time to climb…….serious……..tapped out in 4th gear, shift into 3rd gear at the bottom, lugging lugging, down-shift to 2nd, then 1st gear clawing your way to the top!
I'm whooped, knackered, tired, beat, spent, and pooped.
Due to the heat, I was sucking down a full 70 oz Camel Back of water and wouldn't even pee any of it out during the 4-5 hour long rides we'd do. Totally sweat it all out.
Twas some of the best riding on the biggest dang dunes around!
Get over there to South East Idaho and return to the promised land..........
