Chain adjustment on Raptor

Hi everyone, a friend of mine just bought a Raptor with a 690 kit.
The question is noticing the chain was loose we tried to tighten it and we could get it to tighten.
Could someone help us out....appreciate any info given. Thanks everyone...

Chain adjustment on Raptor

How did you try to tighten it? Did you follow the correct steps oulined in the manual? Loosen the nuts on the adjustment bolts, loosed the nuts on the carrier bolts, adjust adjustment bolts, tighten up adjustment nuts, tighten carrier nuts.
