Default Cannondale or 250R for the dunes

I am looking into getting another quad for the dunes. Cannondale Speed or '87 250R with 310 kit. I mainly ride the bowls and every once in a while shoot up Test Hill. Any suggestions?
Thanks

250R. Hard to beat the 2-stroke rush. Cheap to mod, easy to repair. Cannondale has a shaky reputation, costly fuel injection, etc. JMO.

2 stroke's are hard to beat in the sand, especially if you don't do alot hill climbs/tree shots....... 310's are pretty unstable, though... I've heard they blow up quite a bit, but the cannondale's aren't known for their reliability either!!

Honda hands down... the big bore is a very powerful setup when done right... reliable too.

I only have one experience with the Cdale... when they first came out I rode a Moto at the dunes... So high geared it wouldn't even climb with my fatt A$$ on it... I had a hard time taking off even... (Killed it 3 times)
my little 250R screams... in comparison, although the Cdale had great suspension, but certainly not $12k worth...

Just my $.02

I thought C-dale made bicycles?

Kidding aside - I would 'follow the leader' and 'purchase a honda' 250R that is...

All the video's with Cannondales in them they appear to be getting beat.
I am seriously looking at Cannondale's but if they can't handle raptors and predators them maybe I will look at the 250R.

No glasses to clean!!
In one of the video's there is a DS that gets stuck at the very top, it out ran them. Another a Cannondale ties a Predator (Predators are not that impressive).
Maybe I am looking at the wrong video's or quads on the video.
I want to buy a Cannondale but have no experience with them, just Jap bikes (YFZ450, Banshee, 400EX, etc).
That is why I was asking opinions on this thread.
Thanks
