Anyone have plans to attend this? We should have a group going early on that saturday. We are supposed to have 3 sites reserved i hope [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]. Well hope to see some of you guys and gals.


Trailride

 

We were supposed to go, but instead decided on two seperate trips. We are going Mar 12-16, Spring Break and for Memorial Day. I would check to make sure that your reservations are still good. I believe I saw where the state owned sites were now first-come-first-serve. The Little Sahara Powersports sites are supposedly still reserved, however I have also heard that the Oasis and the spots behind it are now closed... I'd call and make sure, before you get there and have to camp in someone's yard.

 

We are going for Snakehunt;I mean Party on ATV's. Also going on a recon trip out there prior to the Snakehunt weekend to scope out stuff;perhaps this weekend.
Any feedback on what to scope out would be good. we plan on renting an RV and doing it that way this year instead of showing up and having to get a room in ALVA;which wasnt so bad a hot shower and soft bed were real nice after 12 hours on the sand and huffing up loads of dust.

last year was off the hook crazy!! and this year wil be worse/better however you want to look at it. I remeber to NOT bring the younguns and expect to have a great Family experience. Snake hunt is definatley PG13 ,and at night rated R !!!!

Me and about 6 of us are comin up from memphis
I rode there for the first time over thanksgiving and my one way went out there
we supposedly have a powersports site reserved and a hotel room reserved so we are gonna switch up
over thanksgiving it was too cold to ride at night but i hope to get to this time around
how crowded is the snake hunt usually and how wild does it get at night ?
how many people showed up in the past is it so crowded that its hard to ride?
where does all the partyin go down??

 

Hey Big Dylan, its crowded. Like REAL FORKIN CROWDED! GET IT? Major crowded.
Get there early in the week...Wednesday is late week for a good spot. We saw Party-n going on along all the roads in the park.(bring beads...lots of beads)
Kinda like Mephis in May w/out the music and a whole bunch of drunk teenagers actin like the first weekend of college. Nothin wrong with that as long as you dont throw up on us old men!
PARTY ON GARTH...AND DONT BOGART! YO! SHOW ME THOSE PUPPIES! GET ON IT! BLING BLING ON PARADE...You know the scene. 10 hours for you comin from Memphis (speeding the whole way).

 

Don't know about the bar, but the dyno will be there.
