While I realize there are going to be limits to what it will be capable of doing, I am curious to what the biggest hill/dune has been climed with one? Please don't respond with it won't and buy a banshee or raptor or whatever. This is my sons starter bike as he has been moved up from his lt 80. Thanks Ed. OBTW What mods have been done that work?

I would get some tires also jetts and air filter thats going 2 be the beat thing for his bike if he wants more speed go 1 tooth up on the front sprocket you mught have 2 change the jetts for that one or it wont run right if you are going 2 get them make it all at once so you dont half 2 mess with the carb 2 much also a pipe would help out all of those should be good and he will notice a big difference

How much does he weigh??

My daughter has a 250ex and weighs around 75-80 lbs and can go up any hill around these parts. Her bike is stock except for a K&N filter. Most of the hills are around 50-110 feet. These bikes do really well as long as the weight of the rider isn't too much. They will surprise you even then. Gear selection is everything too.
