My buddy camped with us several times without a reservation but one day they came up early in the morning and banged on his camper and wrote him up a nice ticket and made him pack up and leave. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] That $ucked big time.

 

When the park people wise up and start checking receipts as people leave[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] they will figure out how much money they really loose[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] That $270+ dollar fine isn't worth it to me. In my career, I have written my fair share of citations for the same thing.

 

Ahh yes I remeber our Terrorist ran motel we had the pleasure of staying in, the shower broke dude had to come with locking plyers and left them attached. Motels so not worth it around the Pismo area.Peace!

Hmmm... i have another question? so we called up the reservation place and you can't put them in another persons name. so how the heck would you give someone your reservations? they said the only way you can get them is call right after they cancel. it makes no sense.

 

I do know there is a waiting list, at least that is what I was told. Last time we went we showed up on a wed. like we always do and said we wanted to stay thru sun. Lady told me that you couldnt buy weekend camping at the gate anymore. But she said that there were openings and that we could call and get them We had them before we hit the 2 mile sign. Next day I go down to the gate to get our updated reciepts and a different lady at the gate tells me that each vehicle has to come down and get its own reciept. I begged and pleaded with her to let me have the reciepts and not make me dig/drag out my moms motor home. She let me have them but with a bunch of warnings about pushing my luck. If they would just open up the beach again it wouldnt be a problem.
I just dont understand how that little bird survived for the 40 plus years all 11 miles or so were open.
