Need Advice.

Hi guys.
Me and a friend are planning a trip to go dune riding next summer down in California. Are bikes are all set up right now for riding in Canada so we dont really know anything about sand riding.
We are going to get some sand tires for the rear but were debating if its worth changing the fronts. Also what about whip flags, what size do we need to be in compliance.
THanks.
Any advice is very appricated.

IT DEPEND'S ON WHERE YOUR GOING CALIF. HAS MANY PLACES TO RIDE DUNE'S. IN SOME OF THEM LIKE DUMONT THEY HAVE VERY STRICT RULE'S AND YOU NEED TO HAVE PAPER WORK TO PROVE IT'S YOUR BIKE. AS FAR AS THE FLAG'S GO I'VE SEEN MANY OUT THEIR WITHOUT FLAG,S SO I DON'T THINK THERE IS A LAW ON THAT. ALSO BIKE'S MUST BE CALIF. EMISSION'S APPROVED. MOST ARE FROM FACTORY ALREADY. AS FAR AS TIRE'S YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO HAVE SAND TIRE'S BUT THE BIKE WILL HANDLE A LOT BETTER IF YOU DO. IF THERE'S A LOT OF RIDER'S OUT THERE THE SAND BECOME'S REAL LOOSE AND STOCK TIRE'S TEND TO BOG DOWN IN IT. HAVE A GREAT TRIP. YOU WILL LOVE IT.
