I'm from Waynoka, and I'll put it to you this way: the dunes at Little Sahara are no comparison to most others out there. They are only about 75 feet high, and that's the few tall ones we have. I don't know how tall the dunes at Silver Lake are, but I know that the land area in Oklahoma is much smaller. It's only about 1300 acres. I don't want to sound like I'm belittling my own backyard, but I also don't want to see people drive for hours on end and be disappointed. It's a really nice place to ride, but it's not like the other big parks out there. If you are coming for Snake Hunt, come early, and get ready to be on your toes while riding. Crowded is an understatement. When you pack 10,000 people into our little town, bad things happen. Personally, I hate the big weekends because the worst of society always shows up, but I love what they do for our local economy.

little sahara is a good place to ride and worth the trip.in my opinion snake hunt weekend is not the time to go for your first trip.its too crowed and too dangerous out there to really have good riding time.snake hunt does however offer alot of sights to see. 69hemi,silver lake is less than 400 acres so he is going to feel like its a huge area.

Oops, I guess I got it confused with St. Anthony's for some reason. I agree with you about making a first trip during Snake Hunt. It's just too dangerous.
