Boundaries are hard to know if not marked. Who in the world could justify shooting people in the back for going over an unmarked property line? The one who could cross that line will likely pay the price! The line must be imaginary or known only by the guy with a gun!
How sad that people can get shot at for having fun and riding the dunes. Riding on sand does not seem to justify aggravated assault with a deadly weapon! What is this world coming to?

Now heres something to get exited about,
a kickass race the losers have to agree to keep their mouths shut untill the next race say maybe three months and then race again choose up teams and race!!! then maybe we can all be friends and treat the dunes as a treasure
not a battle ground of childish antics.Come on guys lets just all go out and throw some in each others faces, not fists or bullets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I was thinking more like these statements:
"It" (trespassing) is what brought this to a head...implying you were under the impression that when someone provoked him he may take drastic action?
All would have been fine....meaning it is "our" fault he blew up and did this? Possibly because people had been making fun of him? He didn't have to ride over towards these two riders on Sunday alone. There is always a group of KSI "volunteers" - no way do I believe he had to go alone. He CHOSE to go alone and CHOSE to take a gun out there and CHOSE to pull it out and CHOSE to fire it. This is not how a reasonable thinker would react by threatening to shoot or shooting to try and get someone off of his property. This shows ME that this has gone waaaay beyond a battle over sand. It has become personal. I believe he went out with EVERY intention of doing this. He just thought he was justified by law.
& If he was so worried about the death threats he/his family had been receiving, WHY in the world would he send his wife over to confront a group of male individuals ??? I don't know ANY man in their right mind, IF they were seriously concerned about someone harming them, that would send his wife (alone in the vehicle) to do this!
At least you're a good friend gofastshee- you're sticking by his side....I'd only hope he'd do the same for you~
