best dune ride???

Again define "best".
If you mean most comfortable, the bigger, newer quads are it. If you mean fastest, banshee, their is no close second. If you mean easiest, the 450's. If you mean the best meaning if there was only one to have, the shee is it. I know you zilla guys think your it, your not, simple sales records show that. The bigger quads, rappy and Kfx700 are a little heavy, and slower revving. The 450's are all pretty good, probably a close second overall. BUt remember the rules of the sand, you need to be light and fast, the shee is light, and it is the fastest(maybe not stock, but who rides a stock ride?). However, their is another argument that I rarely see on this subject. I would rather be a little slower and not have to be towed back to camp. The zilla is a famous break down waiting to happen. The shee isn't too far behind. The early rappy 01' is also infamous. SOOOO could it be that the best dune ride is a 400ex or lt400?? no!!! I own a 03 rappy, I would argue that with my hop ups it is a fine dune ride, but I would say either the yfz or 450r are the best for the dunes overall(the suzuki is too new, give it a year)in that they combine speed, comfort, ease and durability.

Simple Sales records? They stoped making Zillas cause they got sued for them being to fast stock and people were killing themselves I dont know how you can compare sales records when one bike was made for 4 years and the other was made for over a decade.
Edit: You are right have your opinion I was just wondering how you cam to that conclusion.

A 350PV 250R with full aftermarket suspension.
For the best stock duner ever, I would take a LTR450. Just add paddles, a $40 Cherry bomb and take out the pea-shooter. After that, probably the 700R.
Honorable mention would go to the GasGas 300. If you've ever ridden one you know what I'm talking about. Don't get me wrong, I'd never buy one though.
