Default Paddles...

We just got back from Killpecker dunes and we just got some new sand paddles. We had 22-11-10 sand stars and swithed to 22-11-10 8 paddle haulers and you cant beleive the difference. If anybody is getting paddles, get the straight paddle haulers or extremes. The turning to hardly and different either. I was very impressed with the improvement over the sand stars.

i know there good for acceleration and traction. But are they good for drifting around, making sharp sliding turns?

I've ridden on curved and straigh paddles and straight are best by FAR. You can turn just fine. Overall, it's straight paddles by a large margin imo. All my riding buds agree with that - yet you still see curved paddle owners out there. I wonder if they've ever ridden on straigh paddles before?

straight paddles(haulers) are ment for straight lines up hill and drags, they work great for the dunes and they do slide a little when turning but if you want to be able to throw the rear of the quad fast in a turn then curved paddles are the way to go
