Default PISMO CLOSEURE...ALERT

Its a nice place to go but do you know how many business's depend on tourists?? Look at the Angelo's for instance, the have a monopoly over everything there that has to do with riding on the beach. They would go bankrupt for sure if they lost that type of crowd. Those mom and pop shops should be posting al the Shame On Sierra Club signs in their stores if they want to stay in business. Sierra Club just dont know when to stop do they. We need to come up with something that bugs the $hit out of them Tree F#@ker'$ so they can go think of someone else to bother. If Pismo closes, I would BET there will be riots in that town for sure!!

Many of the "locals" who are fighting to have vehicle access to the beach shut down for some reason don't seem to be concerned with the amount of revenue Oceano Dunes SVRA brings in. They aren't worried about the business owners who will lose their businesses or the employees who will be unemployed. The park brings in approx $200 million dollars a year and hires many local people. The community needs this park!! They blame vehicles on the beach to everything from Global Warning to somehow the war in Iraq... it's really pathetic. I've watched the video from the meeting they had regarding the sale of the land to the state and it is interesting to hear the reasons they don't like vehicles on the beach... The FoOD group is working very hard to be at all these meetings and hire lawyers to fight for our right to be able to maintain our SVRA park. It's a very costly fight!! I urge everyone to be aware of this issue and try to find some way to help... if we don't get involved, we can't complain when they take it away from us!!
