Paddle tire question
#1
I just got my 1st paddle tires for riding on the sand. How important is it that the paddles on the rear tires line up perfectly with each other left and right?
Someone told me that the left and right rear tires need to have the paddles on the tires lined up perfectly with each other for riding on the sand.
I mail-ordered the tires mounted on some wheels. The paddles do not line up left and right. Should they? What difference does this make if any?
I haven't tried riding them in the sand yet. The only problem I noticed riding on the asphalt a short distance is that the quad rocks back and forth a little because the paddles don't line up perfectly.
The tires are AMS Sand Snakes. They have 8 paddles.

I have never noticed any difference in performance when the paddles do not line up.If you want to line them up you could leave the wheels attached to the hubs and pull the hubs off and line them up on the axle that way.

if you drag race ,you'll notice it will pull to one side at take off.other than that ,not a big deal... just pull the hubs like said earlier... if you dont run alot of tire pressure , u can actually spin the tire on the rim. so they arent always lined up.but no biggey.
