Default measuring rims for paddles

I have several sets of rims for my atc250r. I would like to buy a set of paddle tires (prolly ST Hauler 7 or 8 paddle), but do not know which size to order. How do I measure the rim to know what size tire to order?

I know the tires come with overall diamter, width, and rim size. I just need to know specifically how to measure the rim to come up with the right tire size.

I'm also curious if there is also a standard way to measure the bolt pattern.

For wheel diameter, measure across the wheel when it is on it's side. For width measure across the wheel like it is on the bike. As far as bolt pattern, just always order Honda, they are the same for the ATC as well as all the sport ATV's.
