Bottom line.

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>This is the best ATV engine!" Compared to the Outlaw 500, it's in the next time zone. It's neither the Banshee that will fry the tires and go nowhere nor one of the torquier 450 MX motors. The KTM 525 is ultimately faster than any of them, anywhere. Simply stated: smooth, strong power from the bottom to the top with minimal vibration. What more can you ask? </end quote></div>

Default ktm 525xc questions

Taken from KTM's 525 EXC enduro motorcycle, the four-valve, liquid-cooled, electric-start, 510cc four-stroke is described by Polaris as the fastest-accelerating production quad engine with the most torque in its class. Top speed is said to be 76 mph (with stock gearing) and crank output is a claimed 51.5 horsepower, considerably more than the stock 450s.

I take it this is where Vrodpreditor got his info. - note - Claimed crank horsepower !!!

Vrod why don't you just finish this conversation the right way and put this stupid talk to an end. 41-43 out of a Stock pred? Try again! Give us real world results or this will never quit.

Ha ha, LMAO!!! NO Way in Hell a Pred is ever beating a modded Banshee bro, or a KTM or Outlaw 525. You need to stop before you make an even bigger fool of yourself. And yes, let's see those dyno results and some proof before you go spouting off about your shiz on the internet.</end quote></div>

Unless your Pred has some form of forced induction, elevation isn't going to save ya. A machine that is faster at sea level is just about always faster at higher elevations as well, provided all machines are properly jetted for elevation. I don't see a lot of Preds in the top results up Pikes Peak every year... BTW, it was MRDS650 that was lookin for a race, not Silverbomb, lol.
