I have a 2000 Blaster with mods listed below. Would I be able to ride good with the EDGE with 6 paddles in Glamis Dunes. Or go with the Sand Sharks. Do the EDGE work good for straight hill climbing. Thanks for any replies.

You will do good with either of the 2. The sand sharks are cheaper. The paddles aren't glued on either, so they won't rip off, like what happened to my haulers. If it were me, I would go with the sand sharks.

If your main intent is hill climbs, straight paddles are better. The V paddles help turning, but lose a little going straight. A light machine like a Blaster should be pretty easy to turn with straight paddles anyway.

The Skat-Trak tires are lighter than the cast paddles. The straight ones are also lighter than the V paddles. A lighter tire will make a big difference.

run the Skat-Trak "Edges", they are lighter than the sand sharks or similar tires like the Sand Skate II's. A lighter tire means fast spin up and less weight to have to turn.

Thanks Guys I ordered my Skat-Trak Edges 20x10x8 with 6 paddles on Douglas .125 rims. Can't wait till I go to Glamis and try them out. I will tell you how they work out.
