You decide........Copy and paste. I'm on the right. It's pretty obvious. http://wsphotofews.excite.com/028/Vi/Oh/cB/Yv60265.jpg

Smoked no! Beat yes. I should lose, but for everybody who thinks paddles make such a huge difference they're wrong. On two strokes they do and smaller cc machines also, but not a quad w/ so much torque. If I sat there all day and got my gearing right like they did, it would have been even closer, and I might have won. I don't care about hillshoooting though.

Sandgod, What were you racing against? People probably don't realize how long that hill is either.

My riding buddy rides a 350X and I don't think I've ever seen him run paddles on the three wheeler but he seems to like them on his 425X quad. I had a oppertunity to try the Kenda Dominators in the sand when the paddles got left behind one trip I was surprised at how well they did especialy considering how poorly they do in dirt but I wouldn't do that by choise, paddles are much better on a DS. Also remember that your running the Dunlop radials which will do much better than non radials, many folks like the Ohatsu(sp?) radials in the sand too in fact the new BajaDS has them instead of the Kendas, I would like to try a set of the Dunlop radials on my DS I've heard they do very well on the DS

Wyoduner they were two other Raptors. The guy on the far left had very smooth and small whoops to go through. I went down the middle where they are the biggest and worst.

I always run paddles out there on my Raptor because when the sand gets "steep and deep" you aint going anywhere with nobbies. The paddles do add extra drag on your engine, so where your knobbies can get enough traction (like going up Sand Mtn.) they do ok. I'll pay you $50 if you can follow me up some of the shorter steeper hills I like to climb on the backside of the mountain without paddles
PS I don't really care much about hill shooting either, here is not much skill involved. I prefer fast riding in the open dunes for a challenge, when I want my eyes to water because I'm doing 50 up the hill I will jump on my Banshee but I always spend more time on my Raptor.
