BEST overall is the Suzuki LT500R

 

i would have to say that i have smoked too many LT's...The banshee cant be beat when it is tuned right

 

Id have to give the nod to the LT 500. Only because it has the torque to climb any hill without having to feather the clutch to get into the power. The fun factor on the other hand goes to the Banshee, the way the powerband hits in just awesome. A total rush...

LT500R - they don't call it "Quadzilla" for nothing.. And I've never lost to no Banshee with similiar mods....

I guess I would agree that the 500 is overall the best duner made. But the banshee is right behind it and I think one of the best dune machines made today is the DS650 and especially the baja.

If I were buying another bike it would be the banshee. I have the DS and I used to have a banshee and I love my DS, but I do miss the hit of the banshee. I am a duner at heart and that is my love.

Definately the DS650. Absolutely perfect for the dunes.

 

With paddles, I don't think there is a dune out there that I could not stop and restart a climb with my Drakart Formula Cross. I don't know of anything mass produced that is faster.
