I was at Glamis last weekend and was embarassed at the condition of the dunes. For all of you that go and enjoy what ever area you ride, do yourself and the area a favor.

PACK OUT MORE TRASH THAN YOU BRING. It only takes a minute to walk around your area and ensure that it's clean.

In Ca. lots of the riding areas have been closed due to people throwing away trash at the area. Carpet, GLASS BOTTLES, sofa's, stolen cars, and more, have all showed up at areas I used to be able to ride in.

If you wonder why you can't ride somewhere anymore look around at the trash. The same people that trash a place are the same one's who wonder why they can't ride there anymore.

Keep it clean = Keep it open

I agree with you smitty.Nobody wants to be responsible anymore. It's a shame that we have to pick up after the punks out there.

You are right. I get so pissed when I see the trash. People are'nt held accountable for anything in life anymore. You don't want to work...no problem. The government will take care of you. You want to leave trash in the dunes...no problem. The ASA will do a "cleanup". When I see someone litter at the dunes I get in their face until they pick it up!! The rangers would make a tone of cash if they would write littering tickets!!

Fortunatly the Rangers are starting to crack down on 1% that screw it up for everybody. Usually its the people who go out in the lifted trucks with coolers full of beer bottles that trash the place. They have implemented a zero tolerance policy( not really a good thing, but something has to be done) that is starting to scare the troublemakers off. The dunes should be looking better as time goes on and the 1% find somewhere else to trash. Hopefully there own hause..
