Most people I've talked to have raved about the Skat Trak Extreme Haulers.
I'm getting ready to order a pair of 8 paddle 22X11X10 Extremes on 9" wide wheels.

I haven't heard a lot of good about turning with paddles. I heard that wedge paddles turn better than straight. ??? Anybodys info would be appreciated.

if you want to turn well then the angled paddles are best. If you want traction for hillclimbs or drag racing then straight paddles are best.
I may have to work a little harder to turn with straight paddles but I like the extra bite they give me. JMO
