Virgin trip for the raptor, its almost broke in, a couple more hours and the oil is getting changed, valves adj., paddles bolted on and its off to the sand,

How was Silver Lake?

 

It was awesome !!!
The weather was a little cool but not bad.
We rode a couple hours Friday when we got there about 5pm and there was only a couple people there. There wasnt even anybody at the entrance. Then Saturday there were alot I thought. DNR was checking everyone for spark arrestors at the entrance to the dunes but I didnt see any sound checks. The dunes are awesome, cant wait to go back. My axle bearings went out causing my chain to fall off and broke my engine casing late Saturday, but I got some great riding in and it was dfinately worth the 3 1/2 hour trip.

when we went it was awesome, 70 degrees, breezy (which made for awesome jumps!!), and absolutely almost no-one there, 10 quads was all there was all day, and we hooked up and rode with 4 of them, hope to have some action pics of the trip this week (im slower than hell at getting pics developed) and then 3 days later its cold, im glad we
went when we did hope to make it back sometime in june (whenever eRAPTOID is going??)

Keep me in the loop also. Raptoid, PM me whenever you guys are planning a trip. A couple buddies and I are looking to plan a trip up that way in the near future. We are all 1st timers to the dunes, so it should be interesting!
