The Oregon dunes are lots of fun! I haven't been to Pismo yet. How does it compare to Oregon in terms of height and steepness of hills?

Thesorb,

Are there many people that ride up there? I went up by lake Shasta a few weeks ago and had a great time riding the trails around there. Nice and wide for a quad. I would love to meet up with some people with quads, all my friends have bikes. e mail me at nks_97@yahoo.com and maby we could get together.

Nick

ChicoNick:

Lots of people ride around here. Unfortunately, much of the riding takes place behind Shasta Dam in the OHV park. It's great for motorcycles, but not too great for quads. I ride sand exclusively, which means going to Coos Bay, Oregon, Sand Mountain, Nevada, Pismo, Glamis, etc. I'm sure there are lots of folks in this area with whom you can hook up for riding. There are plenty of trails, but often you find yourself traversing private property, and that's not cool at all. Anyway, good luck finding some riding buddies, and thanks!
