Well, which is the beter place to ride? I live in northern California (Chico) so both are about the same distance.

Oregon. You can ride all of Pismo in a day but spend a week in Oregon and not do it all.

you are about right in the middle of the 2 arent you...i'd say so

dont bother taking the 6 hour drive to pismo...dont get me wrong...its a great way to spend a 3 day (or more) weekend but if i were you id travel the 6 hour drive to oregon...never been there myself but have heard the dunes there are awesome...pismo is "so so" , but that doesnt stop me from going whenever school lets me

like ben-bruce said...you can ride all of pismo in a day but ride oregon for several days and still have room to ride

pismo has a couple bowl to bowl jumps that are worth hours of playing around on and other jumps that are great too but im sure you can find much better and bigger jumps at the oregon dunes

If you live equal distance from both I'd definitely go to Oregon. From my area Oregon's about a 10 hour drive and Pismo's only 3 hours, so Pismo' is my normal haunt. Don't forget to hit the other dune areas also: Glamis, Sand Mountain and Dumont.

Go to Oregon dune and it would be far better then Pismo dune. It have more beach riding area then in Calif. for sure. Even though never been to Pismo. Go to either Horsefall or Spinreel that way you sart either end and it about 12 miles long and about 1.5 mile wide. If you have any ? to ask me. Go for it.

I have went to Dumont this winter and it was AWSOME. I cant wait to go to glamis when it gets cool. Now that its summer I will try to go to Oregon a few times. Dumont was one of the most fun things I have ever done. Those dunes are huge. I can't wait to see Glamis and how big it is. If there is anyone else in northern Cali that are planning a trip anywhere let me know and I will go.
