I'm probably going to be moving to Texas in a while and where i'm moving there is a
desert right next to it from a 2 hour drive away. I'm moving to Lubbuch. I forgot what the
desert right next to it was called. Anyone know what its called and if people ride there,at all
on holidays or anything?

About 2hrs southwest of Lubbock is Kermit TX. It is a series of small dunes in a HUGE desert they like to call West Texas(now I know what Marty Robbins was singing about). The dunes are very good for trail riding and are always smooth,Mainly because their are few people that go their. I have been their by Invite of 14mins and his riding buddys, and we had a great time. I will definatly go back sometime, But with Little Sahara,OK only an hour and a half away from my house its hard to leave. I'm sure once you get settled, we can all plan a trip down their and throw alittle sand around!

I live about 15 miles from the kermit sand hills and they are some fun hills to ride. During the weekend there are about 100-200 people out there on all kinds of quads, bikes, and buggies. It's a real good place to ride. Whenever u move down here, send old Some Crazy Mexican a line and maybe i can go out there and ride with u a few times or so.
