If your going to Billings. Take 4 hour or so detour.
Go west on the 90 through Bozeman take the 85 south to the 191 south to the 287 south into West Yellowstone. From there take the 20 south 100 miles or so to Rexburgh Idaho. Take the north Rexburgh exit, head north a few miles, you'll see the best Dunes you'll ever want to ride.

no dunes in montana.if youve never been to st.anthony take the detour itll be worth it.we have a very good riding area about 15 miles out of billings, its located by shepard mt.,its mostly woods, trails, with alot of deep dryed up creek bottems, ect.the local yamaha shop can tell you how to get there.if you want to go with a group on the weekend i ride with a large group most weekends (when my raptor isnt broke) we could take you out and show you around.

I envy you Montana guys. I like rideing through mountain trails every bit as much as rideing through the dunes. I've been going to Montana every year for the last 5 years and we took our quads this last trip in July. Western Montana is it. I will live there some day. Enjoy what you have. Most only dream of living in places like that. Derbyking. This wasn't directed at you in anyway. I just love that state. In fact, now that I have discovered St Anthonys, anywhere near the north eastern area of Idaho, southwestern area of Montana, Northwestern area of Wyoming will suit me just fine. I'd be in heaven.
