Default Please help with dune setup.

I was going to order paddles for my Z400 so that I can travel to Winchester Bay. I will be riding recreationaly and have decided on the V paddle style of tires. What I need help with is, in the package deals the rims seem to be .125 rims. For someone that does moderate air, is this enough? I also need input on which size of rim to go with, 8" or 10". If I would have been thinking ahead, I would have asked about 8 weeks ago, when I ordered my Hiper Technology wheels. Thanks riders.

go with 20x10x10 7 paddle edge haulers, i personally think straight paddles are the way to go, winchester has some big hills to climb. you want the 10 inch for the floatation and with 8 paddles it sucks too much top end when your in 4th and 5th, specially if you dont have a pipe.

After trying Skat-Trak "edges" and the "haulers", I would use the "edges" for a rec. rider, the manuver alot better and still get good traction. The "haulers" are good for drag racing or racing the hill climb's. the rims that they will typically come on are Douglas wheels, and 3 different thickness's, .125 (blue label), .160 (black label) and .190 (red label). Usually the going price is for tires on .125 wheels, $5 extra for the .160's and $20 more for the .190's. Unless you are going to be jumping or hitting things with your wheels, I would just use the .160 wheels. Contact Rocky mountain atv (www.rockymountainatv.com) for about the best prices and the quickest response on delivery. We use Skat-Trak "edges" (20x10x10 8-paddle, .160 wheels) on our Banshee's and 400ex, and I know that "Z" has more power than this ol' 400ex has.
