When does silver lake dunes open and what kind of weather at that time of year I would like to plan a trip early b-4 it gets two busy

 

opens april 1st. thats the best time to avoid the crowds. the dnr are relaxed about sound issues until the 4th of july. october is also a great time to avoid crowds. those times during the weekday you'll be all alone sometimes the dnr are gone also.
