New Paddles

The kevlars are good for big HP motors that run in dirt tracks or semi rough sand. They weigh a little more so id run the ultra lites on the lesser HP bikes like the honda's and such. The kevlars are a little more durable though, the paddles dont fold backwards on them like the UL do either

You may also want to try a little more tire pressure. The thing that really sucks with haulers is that once they fold back they do not straighten until the run is complete and your off the throttle. You loose a lot of traction that way. But if your folding padds back then id run kevlars or more air. Let me know if that fixes your problem. I raced a ninja 900 last weekend. He was running 10 paddle ultra lights. He had some 13's, but the bike was too much to handle with the 13 blades on it. Pretty fast bike though.

That would be a better setup. We run 14 paddle haulers with an 80inch rollout on our banshee and without the stretched frame and wheelie bar there would be no way of handling that thing. Id run the 10's for the dunes simply because you couldnt hook up the 14's and that it would hurt you more in the long run.

The first outing was scary with the 14's way to much hook up. I saw more sky than sand! Since then I changed the swingarm to +4 and it is much better for playing with the 14's. Hill shooting or drag racing I still have to be careful with the throttle though. I am looking for managable traction so I can keep the motor in it's powerband.
What would you suggest on my R? I've always run sand skate's but with the new engine I was thinking of going to straight paddles.

your 330 PV? hmm when i got our 370 from eddie i ran 9 paddles with a 14/39. Now we redid the porting and we run a 15/36. Id say go with the 9 paddles. I wouldnt go 10's, and 8 is kind of iffy. What swingarm?

Havinnog, I live about 30 miles south of Tillamook.(15 minutes from Sandlake) I'll keep those Gecko's in mind, but my friend just got haulers for his 400ex, and is going to give my his sand skate 11's, so I'll give them a try first.
