I know everyone has at least one story. Here is mine last memorial day my family and I were at Driftwood II in Florence. It was about 4 in the morning when this 2 seater buggy came ripping in the campground with 3 guys in it they were drunk looking for gas to steel ( maybe this is why they have the new law in the dunes!!!!) Any way they came in to the camp ground doing about 20mph and came to a stop and 2 of them started throwing up all over the buggy and ground. Then the cops showed upand they took off missed the turn and had to drive around the camp ground again before they hit the sand road!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't see it but I sure heard it and saw the piles of puke in the morning (hahahaha)
I've got another one same weekend this group of people were camped across the road from us. The group was all family except one guy he was the boyfriend of the daughter. The mother had this NICE looking 250R that was almost restored Looked good. She just got a new Banshee so was letting the boyfriend ride the 250R instead of the banshee. I guess he told everyone that he rode dirtbikes before anyway the father had to start the bike up for the guy. He was revving it up to warm it up started to climb on it and when he threw his leg over it click it into gear while at full throttle the thing was on the rear tires and going like hell towards this brand new motorhome diesel pusher at least 80 grand when the thing stoped, The 250R was trash. The guy jumped off the bike and threw his helmet and a piece of the bumper and walked off and was deep red. I didn't see him any longer the rest of the day. I felt bad for the guy but man was he stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

HAHAHA better them than you! It would suck to be the idiot boyfriend of a hot rich chick and have to hang with the parents

 

I am sure they felt better after they upchucked.

The red guy should start using sunscreen.

 

One time at Dumont, some drunks in a buggy came through camp in the early hours of the morning. They were going REAL FAST!! Thing was, the kids had burned in a nice big track next to camp, and it was dug in real deep and had big berms. In the dark they didn't see it, and it ate the whole front end of the buggy. They endoed! It was great!! Thing was, the rangers came by the next morning and acted like it was OUR FAULT!! A whole crew of them showed up and filled it in. When they left, the kids just went right back to riding it again.

 

This one time, at Sand camp........

 

This is getting out of the sand box but pretty soon when you go out in the evenings right before sunset the bats will follow you down the road. They dart around in and around your head. It quite amazing how they use there echo location so they don't run into you.
