Sandgod, DSJockey called me last night to tell me that there may be no camping spots left at St. A for 4th of July. I know where you plan on staying but you might still want to check out the reservation situation. I'm going to take Thursday and Monday off I think, BTW.

One way or another we'll be duning at ST. A soon enough.

Rock Springs was COLD last weekend!!! Windy as Heck too!

 

so is everyone going to camp at Oasis or somewhere else, let me know so when I get there, also what will you guys be driving so I can spot everyone and hopefully we can camp together, I myself will be in a 29' class A Fleetwood Storm.

 

We usually park ot the first loop on the right. The second and third loops are nestled back a little better. Not many people during the week so it won't be a big deal to find you.

 

not to be stupid but will it be the first loop on the right after I drive through the gate, that is if there is a gate.

I read in the Bomb forum in one of the St. Anthony threads that they are still working and there is no overnight camping this year. I am tempted to call the BLM one of these days just to ask for myself. $th of July will be my forst trip there this year.

I hope to get to Rock Springs in a few weeks. Weather has been cool (cold mostly) and rainy lately. Maybe in a couple of weeks - should I let you know when I head out?

 

Whoa, no overnite camping... guess I'm glad I made reservations at Gene's... Hate the ride to the big dunes, but it's nice since we usually stay for 8 days or so..

Yeah, give me a yell next time you head to R.S. I probably won't make another trip until Memorial day weekend. We froze our butts off last weekend... sure glad the heater was working in the camper. I was actually surprised at how many folks were out there tearin' it up.
