what do you guys think about the 2009 yfz 450R?
well when you say "everyday" quad that has reverse you will not beat the quality and low operating cost of the Z400 no matter what year, fuel injected or not. Yes I know the 400ex has reverse now, but it simply cvan not keep up with the pace a Z400 will set, the EX power signs off right about 2/3 throtle and the Z just keeps pulling.
If a raptor seems like too much and owning a 450 seems too involved (they are getting better, but you will have to throw money at them to keep them running their best) then A Z400 is the only logical choice. I will say the EX is a better wheelie machine[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] , but for all out power A Z with an exhaust and cams/ air filter and no lid will hold it's own with the big boys.
I know because I ran one at the local MX races and I am 6'0 240 lbs, it did fine
Mine only had a slip on e serries and a UNI filter
The Z is an awesome woods quad.
