Talking bionic timberwolf project

ok i am probably going nuts from being couped up all winter but here's a project i am going to try.
i have a 1992 yamaha timberwolf i picked up dirt cheap, motor runs but is close to being done for.
i also have a 1979 yamaha 1100 motorcycle that has a great motor but the rest is junk.
both of these are shaft drive (on the left side), so i am going to try to make this 1100 engine fit.
it'll probably end up looking like some frankenstien creation but i have almost no $ invested in both of these and seeing how both are not a highly valuable item there is no harm it trying, if it turns out to be a failure then i can still part out whats good on them and put some cash in my pocket. but if it turns out good then i'll need some plastic surgery to remove the smile from my face.
i'll post some pics as i get started.

well hows this for a kick in _____, i called the guy that had the bike and told him i was on my way to buy it and he told me "no problem i'll be waiting", drive a little over an hour to get there and the _____ said he just sold it to someone else !!!!! didn't have the ____ to call my cell to tell me that and let me drive that far and waste $50 in gas!!!! so this project is on hold until i can find another engine. good thing i haven't started tearing the timberwolf apart yet, at least i can still ride it for now.

You can post the photos to another site like Flickr and link them here, or let me know where they are and I can post them for you...

Or better yet - start posting here more so you can upload the photos yourself!!!!!
