I missed sunrise but it was 10 degrees here.

We had a cold spell Thanksgiving week and I'm hoping that it has moved on for a while. We had a few nights dipping down to -10 and those kind of temps make me a little nervous.

I get a bonus in the spring if the resort survives the winter without a bursting water line!! LOL

At least one that could have been prevented.

 

Did some work with a friend who has a flood/mold cleanup business. State requires sprinklers in rental units and office buildings. The idiots put the pipes in the attic above the top floor and don't wrap them with enough, if any, insulation. He gets lots of work come January and February. My oldest son, Moose 1, is working for him and loving all the hours he gets.

was jack knife. Right here I hadto get off once to keep from going into the creek.

I know what you're saying about ice. That last ride I took up in Berlin, NH there was about an inch of snow on top of ice. As I went down the steep decent from where I had lunch I was thinking, "Man I should have come down the less steep trail I just came up."

How does the limited slip front work on ice? I'm curious. I know with all four wheels grabbing I almost had an IBM on a couple of slides. (involuntary bowel movement for the uninitiated)

On ice and snow all four wheels dig. Really about the only time the 3-wd kicks in is when one front wheel is off the ground. If all 4 are on the ground they're usually all digging.

It's different. Mine is quite a bit more aggresive than let say a Kawi, Suzuki or AC when they are in 4-wd but don't have their front diffs locked.

I think chains or studs are the only thing going to help on ice.
