I finally got new bolt cutters and cut the chain on the gat headed up Caramel Canyon and put one of my own locks in place of the link I cut out.


Not too far up the canyon I stopped to check out this old adit.


And I stopped to check out this old miner’s cabin. Something about these old buildings fascinate me.


And this was as far as I could get today. I'm going to see if my friend wants to come up here tomorrow. He has a big bore with better tires so I’m hoping he'll come and cut the trail for me.
We should have clear blue skies with a temp near 33.

 

I love the old buildings too. It's amazing how long some of those thrown together shacks stand the test of time.

 

Thats is absolutly beautiful Specta!! I would love to ride in scenery like that!!

I don't even like touching some of those old cabins. I too marvel that some of them are still standing.

Specta, Haven't talked in a while. Thanks for taking care of feeding my want to get out there. Just need to figure out the time when it fits best.

 

Specta, Come out come out where ever you are, we need our Photo Fix. I,m from S E Idaho and Retired, I want to ride those trails. Used to live in Gunnision back in the 70's. Rode a 72 500 MX Yamaha, was some great riding East of there.

 

I hope he is ok.....

 

He's still alive and kicking. I've seen him pop up here and there on other topics. Just must be pictured out or something.
