Paiute Trail, Utah

I don't know why, but I thought you might have been talking about Doug Meyers in an earlier post about the 50" gates. I like his website and have been enjoying his trail rides and now, your pics. Great pics. I don't think I'll be able to afford Utah this year but, boy, you've whetted my appetite.

What an incredible day.

Fresh virgin snow.

WOW!!

My friend wanted me to ride this new Bombardier 850 V-twin 2-up ATV, the power is impressive.

He had to ride this new 2010 Polaris 550 2-up, someone out there wants his opinion.

The snow was PERFECT, the icing for the day.
We chose the Max Reid 50”, black diamond, steep and rocky!!
Our favorite kind of trail.
What a killer ride.

We did a 430 mile 2 day trip a few weeks ago up there. Went from Duck Creek to Fish lake the first day and camped on the trail. Then went down thru Hatch and over to Panguitch Lake on the way back. Unbelievable trail system. The upper part is definitely better marked and the Fremont trail is amazing. Dust is the only issue. Looking forward to going in the Spring time when there is still a bit of snow.

We went for a ride a few days ago and had a nice time.

That's my wife in the orange in the center of the pic. I rode ahead of the others to make sure the trail was passable.

Kimberly Gold Mine

Nice trail even though it is not well travelled.
