I don't know how many times I've filled my shoes up with water when I've broken through ice like that. Brought back some chilly memories. Great pics.

I found out that mickey mouse boots will keep your feet warm even when they have water in them. Just don't try walking in those boots. They're heavy. I like the pics. They remind me of the time a beaver put a dam on the edge of the trail. I made it half way across before the ice broke.
