Default What to buy my 13 yr old girl 125 lbs

We want to try a quad. I thought I would buy a used one. I see them from 500 to 1200 that are in my price range. She rode a 90 which was to small for her. She is not aggressive but wants to ride woods trails with me. I see 230,s blasters etc.
What would be a couple of brands and sizes to look for?

Thanks, Fred

Honda 250EX or 300EX, Yamaha Blaster or Raptor 250, Kawasaki Mojave or Lakota, Suzuki Quadsport 230, 250 or Ozark, Polaris Trailblazer 250. I could go on and on. What her level of experience? Can she handle a manual clutch? Do you want reverse? Electric start?

She can operate a clutch. She has ridden a dirt bike for 5 years but never very aggressive on it. She liked the quad 90 she rode and it looks lit she will take to a quad. I am trying to find an older one for the price range. I dont want anything that will scare her.

a good reliable sport bike would ba a honda 250(auto clutch) or the 300 (manual clutch). A yamaha worrior 350 is good to,but a little heavier i believe. these each have reverse. polaris trail blazer 250 is ok,heavy though. suzuki offers the a 250 also, and as said before, the list can go on and on...in the end it all depends on what she feels comfortable on.

a yamaha raptor 250 would be a great choice but are not very old so i dont know how much money they are. so maybe go with a honda 250 ex has some power for the trails but it wouldnt scare her it has electric start and revers and hondas are said to be very relliable i started on a honda and it had many crahse and started right back up wit hno problems so that honda 250 ex would be a great choice in my opinion
hope this helped

I would try to get her something in the 250 class then she can work up from there.

Nah, she'll be fine with a 700r I'd go with the 300ex, but and older wolverine/warrior 350 would be a good choice also

I would stick with something in the 250-300cc range. She will be able to ride it for a long time. I would not get a Warrior 350. Those are very fast.
