Drowning EFI ATV vs Drowning Carb

Drowning EFI ATV vs Drowning Carb
I am wondering how easy it is to self-fix a machine that is drowned that is EFI vs a machine that is drowned that is carburated. I drowned my AC 650 V2 several times when I had it, and my wife has drowned her AC 400. Both were carburated and I was able to maintain both myself with easy fixes, such as draining water out of the carb, changing milky oil and draining tranny. Is it possible to do something similar on an EFI machine? If so how difficult is it? If not what is ruined? Thank you for your time.

I sunk my 700 Griz 2 weeks ago and it has EFI, and I didn't have to do anything fuel related. As a matter of fact it started right up with the engine full of water. Just had to change the oil 5 times and so far so good. I cleaned everything up and have ridden about 50 miles since with no problems.

We sank a EFI 500 AC along side a carb ATV last fishing trip, the only difference to get them back up and going was the carb had to have its bowl drained while the throttle body does not have one to drain. Other then that the rest is the same, drain airbox.motor oil, front and rear diffs and belt housing, the carb ATV was Honda 500 Foreman so it skipped the draining belt step. Both started right up and neither was harder to get going then the other since the carb bowl has a drian screw and holds little water anyways.
Once the airbox is full of water the EFI throttle body's motor quits just as fast as a carb , incase someone thinks EFI has some special under water running abilities of some sort. LOL
