Not too sure about ice fishing, not too much ice down here. For the dunes, just about any of the 450's would work, the 400ex and the z/kfx/dvx 400 are also good models. Personally, I'd go with the 400's. You can get a used one at a good price, and there are plenty of mods for both models. But I don't think they'd be ideal for ice fishing.

Sounds to me like you may be better suited for a Utility quad if you are going to be using it in snow and ice. 4 wheel drive is a must for snow and ice IMO. I wouldn't trade my 700 Grizzly for any of the other models. The fuel injection and power steering is awesome and so far has been totally trouble free.
