Stupid idiots
So I drop off my atv 1 1/2 weeks ago, because of a broken stud on the rear wheel, and grease fittings which I had trouble installing, and decided to get a clutch kit done to help gain back lost power from bigger tires. Anyway, they said it would be ready the following Tues, so I called Monday before the that Tues to see if it will be ready for tomorrow and they said they were waiting on a gasket which will be in tomorrow morning and it will be ready by afternoon. So I hooked up trailer to the truck and headed down to dealer, while in transit there, they called me and said they are still waiting on the part and it will be ready by Friday. So I was like great, I just wasted my time and gas for nothing. So then Friday rolls around (yesterday) I call up around 5pm and they had me on hold for 5 minutes plus, finally they tell me that the mechanic left for the day and it wasn't ready yet.
At this time I am starting to get angry, but sucked it in and would call this morning. So I call up this morning and they again had me on hold for 5 minutes plus, and then told me it's ready, then I asked what was the bill amount and then they tried pulling a fast one on me by trying to charge me $50 more for the clutch kit, so I had him correct that problem over the phone. After all was squared away with bill, I said I'll be down in a couple hours to pick it up. So time to hook up trailer and head down there. I finally get down there, go over bill and paid for it. I then walk out to the atv and make sure stud was fixed properly, and nothing .Still no stud in atv's rear wheel. I go back into the shop and say "You didn't fix my stud yet" , then the idiot says, "oh thats on back order and wont be here till Tues-Weds" so I say to him, "why the hell did you tell me over the phone that it was ready, and waste my time and fuel driving down here". He says "Oh it's ok to ride the atv with a missing stud" I said "I don't think so, and I am not moving it until the stud is fixed".
These morons wasted my time and gas driving down there twice! Not to mention the intial problem why I brought it down there to be fixed in the first place was because stud kept falling out and I couldn't put the new grease fittings in. Unbelieveable!
