Default mop n glo or future on plastics

Hi All,

Just bought my first atv and I'm hearing lots of people using these acrylic based floor waxed on the plastice to protect them and keep shiny.

Any real experience to share? Also how do you remove it without harming the plastic?

Thanks
al

I am sure that it would work great. I generally use Pledge and it does a nice job. I have tried all the plastic polish that "removes scratches" and none of it ever works. It will shine it up a bit, but it will in no way ever return the plastic to original sheen. I used to be concerned about keeping my quad looking new, but where I ride it is not ever going to happen so I just let er get scratched up.

Some guys used to use mop and glo on their boots when I was in the military. The stuff put a real high gloss shine on the boots, but cracked really bad at the creases. I imagine it would work on plastic, but if you hit something, it would probably spider web.
