Hey guys, I always re-register my wheeler online every year. I just got to thinking.... I can't remember weather I go a title with my 03 mojave or not. Do you even get a title with a quad?...lol I'll have to look in my desk..lol My memory gets worse as the years go by..

 

It varies from state to state. In Texas, you do get a title. In some states, they will not let you register the quad to ride on public lands unless you have an actual title.

Best thing to do is check you local DMV so you get the right answer for your area.

 

Usually if they allow the vehicle to travel on public roads you will need a title
Otherwise you do not

In Colorado you do not need one and thus an ATV can not be street legal

 

Yeah, same here in NY. I was just trying to remember if I got one when this thing was new but I don't think so...thanks

 

The registration is tranferable on ATV's. I think they issue titles when you buy new buy it's not needed to register a atv in NY.

 

Did you get one with your machine? Did you buy yours new?

 

No not new at all, all I got was the registration. Used that to tranfer it to my name and register it.
